Finally Summer

So this weekend it was finally nice outside after many long, cold, windy days. We decided to take the dogs to Boulder lake for some exercise and I was ready for some sun. We played fetch forever and the dogs were an absolute mess running through the water and then the sand after the ball. This was Dakota's first time at a lake and he was loving it. Princess is usually a bit hesitant about the water but with Dakota playing in the water, she was a lot more ready to go out there. We were having a really good time until Princess saw a flock of geese and it was all over, Richie had to go get her from clear around the part of the lack we were at and she was not happy that she had to spend the rest of the day on the leash!!

So we are counting down now. I am 33 weeks today so in about 7 weeks, we will finally be welcoming our new baby into the world and we are certainly getting anxious. Last weekend it hit us that we really dont have that much time left so we had better get the baby's room ready. We got the crib set up and I spent the next couple of days washing floorboards and washing baby clothes and putting them away. I think we are close to ready now and we cant wait to finally find out if we are having a Sicily or an Antone!!!

Bunny Sitting

So a couple of weeks ago we bunny sat for my friend Michele. I have wanted a bunny for awhile however, after taking care of one, I realized one may be too much work for my right now. It was hilarious to see the dogs, they were beside themselves with the bunny in the house and Princess really wanted her out so they could play. I was not really sure if she wanted to play with the bunny or if she wanted to eat the bunny but I was not about to take Shelby out of the cage to find out.

My dogs are infamous for bringing home random things such as other dogs' tennis balls, full loaves of bread, pizza etc. Well this morning when they came home they were wrestling over something that was a little unfamiliar so I went to the back door and realized they had found a baby doll somewhere. I let princess in but Dakota had to stay outside till he decided to drop the doll, he then went a buried it before his sister could steal it from him!!

New Costumes!!

So I love littel girls for their dramatice. The other day at dance class, the girls were convinced that they would just DIE if I did not let them try on their costumes for recital. Well I figured I didnt want to be responsible for a costume related death and relented. They look great and I am glad they are so excited about their upcoming performance!!

Dance Time!!

So I have been working on running my own dance studio this past year and for any of you that know me you know this has been my dream since I was little. Well it is going well and I have some wonderful girls that are learning and growing so quickly and I also have wonderful parents who I have to thank for all their dedication and help. One of my little ones Lainey went to competition and she was amazing, winning first place at both competitions. Thanks Lainey and Abby for letting me work with you and letting me join you in Utah for comp. It made my whole month to see you perform!!
