My little BALL of joy

My son is such a funny sleeper, Richie says he is going to start having nightmares from the flashes cause I take so many sleeping pictures but I just cant help it. I am totally a proud mama who thinks that my son is probably the cutest thing that has ever been brought into this world. He used to sleep in the corner of the crib but now he is curling up in a ball to sleep. It is soooo cute. He also tries to suck his blanket rather than cover with it and so it is usually by his head.

Little Sheriff

This is hilarious, I spent the day cleaning out AJ's drawers and packing up the clothes that are too small for him. I went through his drawer with bigger clothes also to see what he would fit into now. I found these PJ's that I somehow missed before and thought I thought they were going to be too small, I thought I would give them a try cause I knew his daddy would love them. They are totally too small but they look really funny, then when I tried to put him in pjs that fit, he started screaming and rolling all over so I just decided he must like them so he can wear them for the night, totally hilarious.

Mmmm, prunes

We were having a little trouble the other day with AJ's bowels and I wasnt sure what to do so I went to the store hoping to get some pharmacist advice and ran into one of the doctors that I know pretty well, he told me that although AJ isnt eating solids yet that a little bit of prunes would do the trick and wouldnt hurt him so we decided to give it a try. He was so cute, and I think he liked them!! (yuck)

Walking with daddy

I love to take AJ for walks and he likes to ride in my front carrier rather than the stroller cause he can see more. Richie decided to take him the other day and they were so cute. I am so grateful for a husband that is so good to me and his son. He is such a wonderful dad and I love to see AJ light up when he sees him.

Toys and Tummy Time

AJ is interacting much more these days and really beginning to be interested in some of his toys and the dogs. He laughs so hard when they play and if the get close to his face he reaches for them and smiles and squeals. When the dogs are by him, he is just very content and he loves all his toys. Happy Halloween

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays cause I love seeing all the kiddos dressed up so cute. This year for AJ's first halloween, we dressed him as superman and I dont think I have ever seen such a cute superman in my whole life. We went to our ward halloween party and Richie was able to meet us there even though he was working so that was nice. I suggested that we needed to dress up like the three bears as a family, but Rich didnt find that idea too funny. Any of you that know us very well know our little bear joke in the family. Here is our cutie on halloween and the night before at the party. Some of the pictures totally capture the essence of our cute little son cause he always is missing one sock or one sock and shoe!

Pumpkin Light

AJ got this light from his grandma and grandpa casados. He really liked it cause it blinks but he of course kept trying to eat it. Then he found that if he dropped it on the floor it would scare the dogs and they would run away, something he thought was pretty funny. It was so funny to watch him begin to really "play" with his toys.

My Sturgis Outfit

My dad bought AJ a cute little camo outfit, that says "Here Comes Trouble" during sturgis this year. He is fitting into it now pretty well so I decided to post a few pics of him in his cute outfit.

New Sleeping Spot

We have been trying hard lately to get AJ on a regular sleeping schedule because we are having a hard time getting him to take naps. Our DR says to let him begin to put himself to sleep, even if he has to cry it out for awhile. The first couple of days were hard to hear him cry but it seems to be helping because he is now taking two or three naps a day. We noticed that once he scoots himself into his little "spot" in the crib, he goes to sleep pretty well.
